Consulting

We manage your IT projects end-to-end. In a first step we analyse the requirements of your IT infrastructure solution. In so doing, we focus on the business processes to be supported by the environment. This is our starting point for the design of a draft solution which would best cover your requirements. If you decide in favour of implementation, we fill in the details and prioritise the individual implementation steps of your solution. We take special care to keep the impact on day-to-day business as minimal as possible. Based on this plan we then implement the solution. This covers everything from the acquisition of the necessary components, their integration in your existing IT landscape, and includes their roll-out. On request, we will provide ongoing operation services for your solution. In this case, we will constantly monitor your systems and ensure their flawless operation by implementing proactive measures, including system and user support.

Projects

Most organisations face similar IT-related issues. We have established best-practice solutions for these frequent requirements. For example, in collaboration with Kaspersky we offer a comprehensive range of training courses for IT users. We work together with Fortinet to provide email security solutions which by far exceed the usual simple filters for spam mail and malware. We also partner with Fortinet in delivering a proven security solution for safeguarding Microsoft Sharepoint, especially when used via the internet. These are only a few examples of our ongoing activities to develop and design reliable real-life solutions for most of the standard requirements of our customers.

We were able to standardise a number of regular activities to a high degree, so we can provide them to you as economical standard services, for example: Our Private Cloud Backup service backs up your data daily to an Austrian data centre. Within the scope of our Managed Secure Network service we build and operate a fully-fledged secure network environment for you. If you choose our Vulnerability Management Service, we test your network and all connected devices for tens of thousands of vulnerabilities on an ongoing basis and determine the exact status of your protection level. Our experts are in high demand. If required, you can hire the services of our systems engineers and consultants on an exclusive basis for a defined period of time. In this model, the experts you require will work in-house on your premises and help you realise your specific projects at hand. Typical examples for this type of contract are performance tunings, software upgrades and modifications or expansions in your infrastructure.

Active monitoring, periodic reporting, ongoing maintenance, remote and on-site system support are some examples of our services, which we combine to build your customised operations management solution. Operations by d-con.net is a SPoC service, where one of our staff members with in-depth know-how of your systems acts as single point of contact, dedicated to your support. Naturally, all our operations services rely on industry-proven tools such as service level agreements (SLA) and the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL).

We provide ongoing system support as well as user support. Within the scope of our system support we eliminate disruptions in your systems, either by remote access or on site. In many cases we perform these activities proactively, to prevent emerging problems at an early stage if detected by our permanent monitoring of your systems. Our service desk team is ready to assist your users with 1st and 2nd level support, if necessary also via remote access. On request, we also handle errors in the work environments of your users directly on site. Faults are managed in our leading-edge ticketing system, with a guaranteed 24x7 coverage available.
